Mounted soldiers like this were once a common site in Old England or  Scotland during the Rebellion of William Wallace and later,when  Robert the Bruce the High King of Scotland waged war against lower England for Scotlands freedom from the English Kings . The figure wears the Chainmail , Tabard, and Rounded English helmet of the era. He carries a Spear with a Penant, a small flag.
