Field Marshal Erwin Rommel came from a Prussian Family of the Aristocracy, with Prussian Roots.
Pioneer of the "Blitzkrieg" Assault technique, Rommel commanded the German North Afrikan Army Korp but was defeated by his British Rival Bernard Law Montgomery at the battle of El Alameine.
 
Returned by Hitler to Germany, he later commanded the German Atlantic Wall Defences on D Day in June 1944, where once again, he found himself matched against Montgomery. Rommel was later implicated in an attempt to assasinate Hitler and took Poison as a suicide to save the lives of his family from the Gestapo.
