We own a large number of  54 MM Figure Masters and Mould Toolings.

We produce only White Metal Figures, and assembly Model Kits,  we do NOT make "Resin" or Plastic items.

We own several Thousand differrent products!

The size of our Rotational product catalogue is rather large, hence we propose to rotate the catalogue every so often to allow NEW and re issued figures to be available for sale again.

​

During Max Chevalliers ownership, the Catalogue will rotate THREE times.

Within that time a new Apprentice owner purchaser is to be found for the Business as a working successfull and "going concern".

​

Any Sale of Mr Chevalliers Business must reflect the re organization and other work done, in terms also of sheer time (years !!) spent putting things right with the product ranges after the neglect they sufferred in New Zealand and Australia.

These Include Chota Sahib, Studio Figurines, (Ex Sarum Soldiers Ranges), Rosedale, Under Two Flags, Music In Miniature, Mountford, Rose Miniatures  (Egyptian and Roman Series), Battlezone, Burlington (Horse Equestrian series), Ducal (Jack and Thelma Duke Range).

We also own the ex UK Classic Large Scale Figure series of products.

This means we own all surviving Mould tooling and Master Patterns Figures.

​​

We also own a number of Larger Scale Figures . These were delivered to Europe from the former owners in New Zealand and Australia.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

The new owners of the former F.B.T.S. Ranges are Maxime and Maryse Fabre Chevallier of France. They purchased the surviving ranges in 2023 and Shipped them to the E.U.

​​

We are NOT in any way connected or affiliated with FBTS.

​

Due to the previous operator "losing" all of the Display Models (!!!) Max is busy taking new photographs and assembeling new display models for the site shop. 

​

These are being uploaded as work and time permits, and will eventualy equate to a brand new image and look for our range.

​

Most of the old FBTS Photos and Publicity  Materials were badly made, faded and belonged to the previous owners from the days way back, BEFORE Gregg Simon bought them in 2008 so there was no way we could re use these permanenty, and very few temporarily. 

​

It had originaly been hoped we could do this earlier, but issues surrounding the Tooling and other matters certainly slowed us down.

​

Piracy Rivalry and Disruption from Industrie Sources.

​

We have also experienced a dis proportionate amount of computer Hacking and sabotage to equipment running in our office, and an illegal "hidden reseau of wi fi parasitic signal stealing data from our telephones and office compuers) traced to a rogue wi fi network operator, and other deliberately time wasteing malicious personal attacks to certain industry business rivals.

They destroyd FIVE Laptops, Three Linux Machine boxes Three Windows System Boxes, one Micro Box, and have hacked several others.

​

Our Online Access and memberships of several Toy Soldier Figure Platforms and on Online Auction series have also been interfered in this way.

​

THEFT OF OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS

There was also a break in to our Office on one occassion, by somebody who solely searched "toy soldier"

documents......you can learn a lot from the actions of "some" we say "some" people. 

​

We reserve the right to carry out Criminal Prosecution. 

Meanwhile....

We propose re issuing these products again, into our Catalogue, over a reasonable and practical period of time.

​

When we acquired the items, many were in a state of utter chaos, and more were also damaged, broken, incomplete and in some cases even stolen !

​

Sharp Practice 

​

Individuals took advantage of th delay to try to sell castings made from stolen tools on E Bay and similar places.

​

Please be aware we possess valid Proper Legal title, and A .N . OTHER on E Bay or similar, trying to sell products we own as "castings" is breaking both International or UK Copyright and  Northern Irish Copyright Laws.

​

If I catch you selling it in my native France, I will immediately summon the Gendarmerie of Police, and you will be taken to court, the law in France is simple about stealing through piracy copies. Its up to THREE YEARS of prison and or a £300 0000 Fine (Enjoy!!!).

​​

Sorting back into shape the ranges has already taken Maxime Chevallier an enormous amount of personal time and effort, and he has always carried out his work for the greater good of the genuine bone fide Toy Soldier Industry and its customers.

​

Sorting thousands of muddled up parts, Masters and "Mould Pieces" has been a Herculean task.

Mr Chevallier has carried out a very large time consumeing work, which is to the benefit of the wider Toy Soldier Industry.

​

AFFAIRS INVOLVING DISHONESTY

​

Max is however, a creative worker who does not accept or tolerate forms of Dishonesty, Piracy, Theft or Deception "Gladly" and is not noted for his patience or directly expressed criticisms of those in this Business who, collectors and Industry alike, do them.

​

On several occassions he has unmasked a number of operators who engage in Fraud and Dishonesty in the Industrie.

​

We have read of many more.

​

He beleives the only way to preserve and grow the Hobby Industry is to stamp out theives and Piracy copying.

​​

It is his aim to re issue what simply put, can be recovered and saved from the chaos that was present when the Business items finaly arrived from New Zealand and, opening his own family run Business "Studio Paris Art" he wishes to restore some Quiet Dignity and Respect to great works, such as the DUCAL Range, and Rosedale Figures, among the others he has acquired.

The production list and availability of the figures, or kits,  is not therefore "written in stone" and is subject to change or ammendment from time to time due to the constraints of having an excessive and sometimes somewhat unpredictable workload.

​

New Figures and Kits will be "re Issued" as they become up to the required Standard to deliver to clients, and various tools are repaired or replaced. 

​

UNKNOWN PREVIOUS BAD REPUATION OF FBTS N Z

​

After our Purchase and Cargo Shippment, which was full of nasty surprises and unexpected issues, me and my wife  then later on did further research, discovering that FBTS in New Zealand had had a very bad, negative reputation for poor quality bad products, money paid for deliverys never completed, and for other related issues.

​

Many traces have been found and printed out of those pre extant  problems. 

​

Had we been aware of this before our purchase we never would have proceeded with that purchase.

For the record, as far as we are Legaly concerned, a Fraud and Deception has taken place, and money has been paid and obtained by Deception.

​

There was also Deception and Fraud over Insurance of the Cargo we have since discovered during an Insurance Investigation we instituted.

​

The "lost" Display Models, and broken missing items gave us nasty loads of un anticipated extra expense and work, way beyond what we ever wanted or expected reasoably to have to do in a Business which was supposed to be well established and featured in at least one article "Toy Soldier and Model Figure magazine".

​

Unfortuneately, the level of previous quality and workmanship , the bad customer reputation of the former owner operators, and the abusive  condition of tooling when the ranges first arrived here in 2023   do not lend themselves well to fast, easy, or rapid re issue.

Many items were, to put it "mildly" abused and in poor condition, and there is and remains, a great deal further work that has somehow to be done.

​

In some cases the availability of 3 D Printing items renders this "unlikely" at this juncture of time, given the rapid developments in our Industry and new technology being used.

​

It is our aim to re issue as many Classic Toy Soldiers as is possible, but it certainly given our age in  years, and the changes to the client customer base, and within the  Industry, never going to be be "all" of them.

​

When the ranges shipped to us, the previous "operator" failed to enclose any useful or complete list of what the Products were in terms of subject or groupings, and NO Information was sent or provided as to the provenance of who the Medieval Personality Figures are within the Chivalry Kings and Knights series of figures. 

Max Chevallier has assembled quite a big List for Ducal, and a lot of photographs, and many names for the Medieval characters, but it is an ongoing task.

This is being worked on but takes a dis proportionate amount of time to resoleve everything, so please be patient.

The pushy, rude and unhelpful "demands" followed by derogatory statements about us on certain Facebook Collector Forum proved damaging and un helpful, and merited the replies they received.

​

It does not make us feel like going out of our way to help when we hear that sort of rubbish....

​

Sorting out whose arms , whose Horses, whose head, body, sword and other myriads of thousands of parts, what rifles for what Marching Formation, what Mould Insert is actually present or missing, and above all, getting the figures and kits back into saleable shape, for customers, has taken a frankly ridiculous amount of Max Chevalliers personal time and energy.

We quite simply cannot be held responsable for Acquired and inherited (And Paid for !!!!!)  delays and issues surrounding these products.

Quite honestly the situation is way beyond a "joke" and frankly INFURIATING. 

​

We therefore will Post a detailed "List" of items we have in our Tooling, which can still be issued, and we propose, given the scale of the task, to offer to you the Toy Soldier Clients, the Customers, and Collectors, some flexibility in  scope to make private orders, and personal purchases, from the list, or from also present BUT not listed as available, items.

​

We will have to make special arrangements. And of necessity charge a Fee for so doing.

​

These Private arrangements of necessity involve bespoke in house work, and must, we have to say, be at a Premium Price.

​

We will supply goods as bare unpainted Metal Castings, requiring assembly, unless otherwise stated and arranged.

​

If things go satisfactorily, we will be seeking to employ a painter in France to provide professionaly painted sets in the future.

Our task is also to rebuild customer confidence in the ranges, after the previous owner acquired a poor reputation at the London and Royal Bath and West  Toy Soldier Show's  and on various Online Platforms, which has been quite damaging.

Max and maryse are NOTHING whatsoever to do with the discredite old previous management.

​

We have worked very hard to restore order and harmony, and dignity, to once treasured collections of work by famous names now departed but not forgotten.

​

Nothing is forgotten, nothing is ever forgotten.
