This Regiment served under several different commanders and names. It was known as the LAUZAN Hussars, and first began as an almost entirely French Regiment equipped in the French uniform of the epoch.  The regiment took part in the evacuation of Port Au Prince.  Later renamed as URWINS Hussars, the regiment finished its service and was disbanded sometime around 1812 when serving under the new name "YORK HUSSARS".  >Few references survive from History, though several authentic uniform colour plates do survive, and denote several different colours of Uniform in which this finely sculpted figure (originally by REALMODEL) can be painted.
