UNDER TWO FLAGS IS NOW UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT
As many seasoned and experienced good taste Model soldier "buffs" will know, Under two Flags and Mr Coutts had a fine shop in London that made and sold their own home-made toy soldiers. Jock and Ruby are ala's long gone, but we have rescued the surviving parts of their once marvelous range of toy soldiers where they were languishing in New Zealand under previous dereliction of duty and poor management, and set about restoring and bringing at least a number of them "back".
 
Max Chevallier has sorted the parts back out again from the box of "loose stock" and begun to identify each figure or set.  Sadly, under the previous Fleur Baix New Zealand  management, rather a lot of Master or Display Painted Sample master figures got "sold" for "income" by the previous owner, and a considerable quantity "destroyed" by an unexplained and undeclared fire. resulting in the SHAMEFUL LOSS and denigration of a large part of the toy soldier ranges they "sold" to us.
 
What happenned to Jock and Ruby's work in Australia and then New Zealand under previous management was to me, as a collector personaly,  an unforgivable abomination, and here at Studio Paris Art we are setting our hand to fixing up and undoing as much of their damage as possible.
 
Meanwhile, the previous owner has done a bunk and vanished....leaving a trail of false stories behind them and upsetting disgruntled people. They also owe us rather a lot of money for products paid for but never shipped, and which seem to have been sold to someone else instead..
 
We will reissue the U2F over the coming Months, as workload on other pressing Business permits us.
