This Knight is representative of the men hired by the King of England in his war against the Scots and William Wallace. Mercenaries fought in many armies and battles across Europe, used extra ordinary methods and fighting techniques and often bought or had their own weapons specialy made. Mercenaries such as this were reproted fighting against the Scots under William Wallace.
