This is a 1/32 Scale White Lead Free metal Casting to make the Figure shown. Requires Glue and paint to Complete.  Bow is Included, you are required to gently shape and bend into "form" the Bow, drill two small holes into the Bow hand, then cut the bow in two halfs, cementing each half into the han,  to secure  the bow in place.  Some Modelling Skill helpfull.

Archery was a key part of any Medieval Armies ability to attack or defend. Archers used Short, Medium and Long Bows to fire arrows at enemy troops. The Hand Bow was far more efficient than the later "Crossbow" and could fire many more arrows than the slower Crossbow which took laoner to re load, exposeing its operator to danger longer on the battlefield.
 
Welsh "Long Bowmen" were especialy prized by early Kings for their prowess and ability .
 
The Bow is an ancient weapon, being used in Ancient civilizations long before reaching Europe. Legend speaks of the Parthian Horsemen, who when retreating, would suddennley turn on their horses and fire a "parting shot" (Parthian shot) at their enemies who were following them.
